Generative AI
2023-03-02Generative artificial intelligence describes algorithms (such as ChatGPT) that can be used to create new content, including audio, images, text, videos, code or synthetic data.
Machine learning is a type of artificial intelligence. Through machine learning, practitioners develop artificial intelligence through models that can “learn” from data patterns without human direction. Whereas, the Generative AI integrated with the right customer processes will improve customer experience.
The most important thing is, making AI stronger is Data science, that is going to propel businesses into the future. Data insights help businesses learn more about customers and their behaviour. Through employing IoT devices, gathering granular process data, providing predictive analytics, and more, data science offers organizations a unique perspective – enabling them to construct accurate trend-models and use them as the foundation for building disruptive software.
While the term generative AI is often associated with ChatGPT and deep fakes, the technology was initially used to automate the repetitive processes used in digital image correction and digital audio correction. Generative AI can produce fast, personalized customer communications based on historical data and customer interactions.
Once a generative AI algorithm has been trained, it can produce new outputs that are similar to the data it was trained on. Because generative AI requires more processing power than discriminative AI, it can be more expensive to implement.
Generative AI can do more than generate images and text. With the help of a quantum boost, it can generate novel solutions to complex business problems. Quantum computing is 1,000 times faster than what we’re used to right now. What this means is that with the speed of quantum computing, what currently requires a day can be completed in mere seconds! Moreover, quantum computing removes dependency on chip technology.
Generative AI has the potential to revolutionize industries across the board, and it is already making waves in many areas such as in the pharmaceutical industry. By using generative AI, researchers are able to design and test new drugs more quickly than before, reducing the time and cost in drug development. With generative AI, researchers can simulate drug interactions, predict outcomes, and even identify possible side effects.
Another industry where we are seeing the use of generative AI is manufacturing. Organizations are using it to help design physical objects or certain manufacturing parts.
Generative AI is poised to revolutionize the IT industry with its potential to enhance multiple facets of the industry. Its impact is expected to be significant and far-reaching.
