Genesys, a global player into customer experience and call center technology to mid-sized and large businesses. It sells both cloud-based and on-premises software. Genesys is headquartered in Daly City, California, Raja Lakshmipathy has joined as the managing director.
Lakshmipathy will be in charge of the company’s expansion in the region. He was earlier with Cisco, and responsible to drive the strategy to enhance the mid-market collaboration business in India and SAARC countries and with his richtwo decades of experience in the customer experience segment. Previously, he has also served in roles with Avaya Global Connect, BT India Pvt Ltd and Larsen & Tubro. Raja brings a wealth of expertise to Genesys and will be based in Bangalore.
Raja will oversee the Genesys India commercial operations and is responsible for business strategy as well as sales activities. Speaking about his new role Raja Lakshmipathy said, “This is an exciting time for Genesys, and I am honoured to be a part of the company’s continued growth. I look forward to helping more businesses in India capitalize on the opportunity to build brand loyalty and revenue by enabling the world’s best customer experiences with Genesys technology at the helm.
