New Mustang-branded audio device strengthens GOBOULT’s premium strategy and builds on strong consumer response to the first edition
GOBOULT (formerly BOULT), one of India’s fastest-growing audio and wearable companies, has unveiled Mustang Thunder, the latest product in its ongoing partnership with iconic automotive brand Mustang. The launch marks the next step in the company’s premiumisation strategy, extending its design-first, performance-led portfolio.
The first Mustang edition saw exceptional consumer traction, recording rapid sell-through and confirming rising demand for high-quality, design-driven audio products. With Mustang Thunder, GOBOULT aims to expand this premium series further across categories, offering advanced acoustics, LED breathing lights with the Mustang Pony logo, and refined design enhancements.
Strong growth expectations for the Mustang series
GOBOULT expects the Mustang range to contribute about 15% of its revenue in Q3 FY26 as part of its premium expansion roadmap. With growing consumer appetite for feature-rich upgrades, the company anticipates this share could increase to nearly 25% by FY27.
“Every new launch at GOBOULT is built on a simple but powerful philosophy: to balance innovation with market viability. The Mustang series perfectly reflects that mindset. This partnership isn’t just another co-branded drop; it is one of a kind in the Indian audio and wearables space, and every product under this flagship line has consistently performed beyond expectations. Each piece is crafted with precision, shaped by real consumer feedback, and designed to deliver more value than users imagine. Through this authentic collaboration with Mustang, we are not just creating premium products but giving consumers a piece of automotive legacy reimagined in personal tech,” said Varun Gupta, Co-founder at GOBOULT.
Mustang Thunder: Premium design meets powerful audio
The new Mustang Thunder combines Mustang’s signature design language with GOBOULT’s performance-focused engineering. The headphones feature:
- 40mm bass drivers

- Dynamic LED breathing lights with Mustang’s Pony logo
- Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC)
- Low Latency Mode
- Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC/AAC codecs
- IPX5 water resistance
Available in silver on black, Mustang Thunder goes on sale from November 16, 2025, on Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra. Priced at ₹7,999 (MRP), it will be offered at a special launch price of ₹2,499, with a Market Operating Price of ₹2,999.
Premium portfolio gets a boost
GOBOULT is broadening the Mustang series from limited editions to a long-term premium line covering headphones, smartwatches and select TWS models. The company’s ongoing rebrand has accelerated this shift, with over 65% of its portfolio now aligned with premium design and experience benchmarks.
The brand’s offline footprint has grown to 12,000+ stores, contributing about 20% of revenue. GOBOULT aims to expand this to more than 30,000 stores by FY26.
Following Mustang Thunder, the company will roll out Mustang-branded smartwatches and special-edition TWS products, strengthening its presence in the premium segment through continuous category expansion and wider retail reach.
