HCL Technologies (HCL) and NLC Insurance Companies have announced that NLC is now in production with Guidewire InsurancePlatform, integrated with the SmartCOMM document management system. The new core processing, data, and document management systems have been deployed for NLC’s Massachusetts agents and policyholders. The systems will allow agents faster access to information, including integrated and automated underwriting rules and reports, to provide a more efficient work environment for them as well as better service for their customers.The deployment work continues with the systems launching in Connecticut and Rhode Island later this year.
