NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal), Mumbai issued notice to PROTEAN eGOV TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (Formerly Known as NSDL E-governance Infrastructure limited) in relation to a petition filed by Skorydov Systems Private Limited.
Protean eGov Technologies Ltd., is one of the IT enabled service providers engaged in developing and executing some Government technology solutions. However over the last few years it has not got much favour or any major projects from the Government.
Skorydov Systems Private Limited is a Mumbai based IT firm and specialises in tax and legal compliance solutions. Skorydov has been providing services to the Govt. of India through Protean.
The matter came up before the NCLT, Mumbai where Advocate Prachi Wazalwar appearing for Skorydov informed the NCLT that due to non-payments of admitted debt, a petition under Sec 9 of IBC, 2016 has been filed for the purpose of initiating a corporate insolvency resolution process that has been preferred by her clients against Protean.
