Nokia to announce new range of smart TVs
2020-10-07As per a report, Nokia is all set to unveil its next smart TV. As claimed by NokiaPowerUser, the new TV could either be a 32-inch one or 50-inch one. Both the variants could also be launched, as per reports. The 32-inch one is expected to come with an FHD display while the other one is rumoured to have a 4K panel. The TVs were earlier reportedly certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. The TVs are speculated to run Android 9.0 and come preinstalled with video streaming apps. They will come equipped with Onkyo speakers, and not JBL ones, as per the report.
Last year, the 43-inch Nokia Smart TV was launched at Rs 31,999. The TV offers a 43-inch screen with an Ultra HD display resolution of 3840 x 2160p and 178-degree viewing angle. The viewers get a 16:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The smart TV offers 5 video modes - Vivid, Standard, Sport, User and Game - for viewers to choose from.
The 43-inch Nokia smart TV comes powered by a CA53 quad-core processor with Mali 450 GPU. It has a 2.25GB RAM and a 16GB internal storage. The smart TV offers two 24W speakers that are JBL-powered and offer Dolby Audio, DTS Trusurround support. The smart TV runs Android TV 9.0 and comes pre-loaded with almost all the popular OTT platforms.
