NOTHING to launch its first smartphone soon

OnePlus‘ Co-Founder Carl Pei announced his own company dubbed “Nothing” focusing on wearables and innovative products. However, after acquiring Essential, the company behind the Essential Phone, the company will soon launch a smartphone in the form of the Nothing phone (1).
It will be a flagship smartphone, running the all-new NothingOS with three years of major Android updates granted. The phone will support wireless charging, and will have a frame with recycled aluminum.
The phone will be getting the Snapdragon 778G SoC, 8GB RAM, a 4500mAh battery and a 6.43-inch FHD+ display, with support for a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The base variant of the device will have 128GB of storage. As for the cameras, Nothing Phone 1 supposedly carries a triple camera setup at the rear, with the primary camera having a 50MP sensor with an 8MP and a 2MP shooter, for ultrawide and macro photography.
In addition to this, the Phone (1) will come with Nothing OS out of the box. The custom skin is based on Android 12 and is claimed to offer a clean, minimal, yet feature-rich user experience. The new Nothing phone (1) will hit the market on July 21 and the company is aiming at a price tag of €500. The phone will launch globally and in India.
