A notable initiative is the launch of a Hindi-language AI model, Nemotron-4-Mini-Hindi-4B, designed to support businesses in developing AI applications tailored to India's linguistic diversity. Tech Mahindra is utilizing this model to create Indus 2.0, focusing on Hindi and its dialects.
NVIDIA is also collaborating with Tata Group to build an AI supercomputer powered by the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, aiming to provide state-of-the-art AI infrastructure to organizations and researchers in India.
These efforts underscore NVIDIA's commitment to fostering AI innovation in India, leveraging the country's vast talent pool and diverse linguistic landscape to drive technological advancements.
NVIDIA is intensifying its efforts to expand its footprint in India by helping Indian firms like Flipkart, Zoho, and Gnani AI create regional LLMs using the Nemo framework and NIM, enabling safer AI, multilingual speech, and improved customer service.
NVIDIA announced partnerships with Indian tech firms like Yotta, E2E Networks, and Netweb Technologies to develop "AI factories.” These AI factories integrate cutting-edge chips, software libraries, and networking technologies to address complex challenges in diverse industries.
Since entering the Indian market in 2004, NVIDIA has established design centers across multiple cities. Upskilled over 200,000 developers through its Deep Learning Institute. This initiative aims to revolutionize industries like healthcare, agriculture, and manufacturing, aligning with India’s broader digital transformation goals.
