Indigenously developed under the National Supercomputing Mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched three Param Rudra super computing systems and a high-performance computing system (HPC).
Built at a cost of Rs 130 crore, the supercomputers have been deployed in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata. He also inaugurated ‘Arka’ and ‘Arunika’, a high-performance computing system tailored for weather and climate research.
