Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core CPU, aimed at mainstream PCs and expanding the accessibility of AI-powered technology. This latest edition to the Snapdragon X series claims to give great performance, longer battery life and AI-powered Copilot+ experiences.
The newly introduced processor includes an 8-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, which is intended to provide significant increases in both performance and economy. The processor has an integrated GPU that can support up to three external displays.
At the heart of the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core is a powerful 45 TOPS NPU of AI processing power and leading performance per watt which, paired with the platform’s significant advancements in connectivity, will push productivity to new heights in ultra-portable designs with incredible battery life. Whether creating presentations on-the-go or videoconferencing, the versatile functionality of this platform will enable transformative experiences.
