Salesforce experienced widespread service disruption affecting customers across multiple regions yesterday. Users reported severe delays, intermittent errors, and, in some cases, being unable to access the platform altogether. The disruption came in the middle of Dreamforce 2026, where Salesforce was showcasing some of its biggest new announcements of the year. The company’s Trust Site highlights hundreds of instances that have been impacted and states that customers may experience severe delays, intermittent errors, or an inability to access some Salesforce services.

Salesforce first acknowledged the disruption at 12:50 AM PDT yesterday, before confirming shortly before 2 AM that multiple instances across all regions were affected.

By 2:10 AM PDT, Salesforce had provided some initial details about what’s happening behind the scenes. The company has said that requests are stalling while waiting for a response from an internal login service, which is subsequently consuming available server resources. It has attempted a rolling restart on one impacted instance to determine whether this could resolve the problem.

Reports from the online Salesforce communities suggest the effects are extremely widespread.  Some have reported disruption in India, and several users have described Salesforce repeatedly becoming available and then going down again.

The impact also appears to stretch beyond people simply trying to log in to Salesforce, with one user reporting that their API integrations were “alarming constantly”, while another described having to tell customers their system was unavailable and accumulating a backlog of callbacks.
