SITA organizes its 27th AGM, elects Bihag Desai as President

South Gujarat Information Technologists Association (SITA) conducted its 27th AGM on 22nd September 2023. This event was attended by more than 67 members physically.

SITA is a pioneer among the IT associations of India, based out of Surat, which has the highest GDP and currently has over 217 registered members and the number has been growing every day.

Bihag Desai, one of the Directors of AccessGlobal Technology has been elected as President of SITA for the second consecutive year, 2023-24.

After passing the minutes of the previous annual general meeting, other items in the agenda were discussed and closed, SITA 2022 – 23 activity show.

The key priorities of the committee this year will be:

1.            SITA IT EXPO 2024 – Tech show date: 19 to 22 January 2024 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday)

2.            To enable SITA to attract young talents.

3.            To increase the reach of SITA in south Gujarat and focusing on increasing the member count.

4.            To develop skills of members through training and development activities.

5.            Improve communication with members, OEMs and distributors.

6.            Be a medium of interaction for OEMs to enter and grow in the Surat & south Gujarat market.

7.            To help tackle counterfeit IT hardware and software.

8.            Digital Marketing to be taken to the next level by increasing visibility of SITA socially.
