Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has successfully completed one of the UK’s largest life and pensions policy migrations for Scottish Widows, the life and pensions arm of Lloyds Banking Group. The migration was executed by Diligenta, TCS’ UK-based subsidiary specializing in life and pensions administration.
This milestone migration moved over 3.8 million Scottish Widows policyholders onto the TCS BaNCS digital administration platform, replacing multiple legacy insurance systems and transforming customer servicing capabilities.
Diligenta completed the final tranche of data migration for 900,000 customers, concluding the large-scale transformation.
Over 980,000 retail customer portfolios have also been migrated to the Next-Gen TCS BaNCS Wealth Platform, covering ISAs and OEIC (Mutual Funds).
The transformation ensures faster, simpler, and digitally enabled services for Scottish Widows customers.
The migration leverages AI-powered tools, data management, and digital workflows to streamline policy administration.
