TECNO launches Phantom V Flip 2 and Phantom V Fold 2 in India

TECNO has launched its latest foldable smartphones in India, aiming to make the technology more accessible at competitive prices. The new Phantom V2 series, which includes the TECNO Phantom V Flip 2 and Phantom V Fold 2, will be available for purchase starting December 13, 2024, exclusively on Amazon. The Phantom V2 Fold is priced at Rs 79,999, while the Phantom V2 Flip is available for Rs 34,999 for a limited time.

The Phantom V Fold 2 comes in two colour options for the Indian market: Karst Green and Rippling Blue. The Phantom V Flip 2 will be offered in Moondust Grey and Travertine Green.

The Phantom V Fold 2 boasts a large 7.85-inch main screen and a 6.42-inch cover display, offering an immersive viewing experience. The device is designed for durability with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and features an aerospace-grade hinge tested for over 400,000 folds. Powered by a substantial 5,750mAh battery, the Phantom V Fold 2 also offers impressive photography capabilities with a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary, 50MP portrait, and 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device features two 32MP cameras.

On the other hand, the Phantom V Flip 2 presents a compact clamshell design with a 6.9-inch main display and a 3.64-inch cover screen. It is equipped with a 4,720mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging. The flip phone is also built with Corning Gorilla Glass 8 and features an aerospace-grade hinge. It has dual 50MP rear cameras and a 32MP front camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Both devices are enhanced with AI-powered features, such as AI Image Cutout, Magic Removal, and Ella AI Writing, offering a seamless and creative user experience.

With these new foldable phones, TECNO is aiming to offer high-quality, durable devices with cutting-edge technology at more affordable price points, bringing premium foldable options to a wider audience in India.
