‘The Kashmir Files’ bags 2nd spot in the list of Highest All-Time Second Saturday Grossers

The Vivek Agnihotri directed film The Kashmir Files that released two weeks back has been seeing an immense increase in business. Despite being a non-holiday release, the movie has been unstoppable at the box office. Having faced stiff competition from other releases, The Kashmir Files has still managed to emerge as a winner at the box office.

In this box office report, a look at the collections of The Kashmir Files on its second Saturday while comparing the same to previous releases reveals that it has collected Rs. 24.80 cr. It managed to surpass the business of Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that had collected Rs. 23.07 cr, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju that had collected Rs. 22.20 cr, Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan that had collected Rs. 19.25 cr, as well as the Aamir Khan starrer PK that had collected Rs. 17.16 cr, thus becoming the fourth highest all-time second Saturday grosser till date.

The business of the film also managed to overshadow other releases like Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 17.10 cr, the Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 16.36 cr, Padmaavat that collected Rs. 16 cr, and the Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai that had collected Rs. 14.92 cr.

Currently still running to packed houses across the country the business of The Kashmir Files is expected to see further growth over its second Sunday. In fact, trade predictions state that the business of the film will in all likelihood manage to cross the Rs. 150 cr mark by the end of its second weekend running.
