UiPath has announced the setting up of its first training center in franchise partnership with RPATech, an NCR-based consulting and services company specialized in RPA.
Inaugurating the UiPath training center at RPATech on Golf Course Road, Gurugram on December 28, 2018, Nidhi Tripathi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, GoI, said, “The Digital India program is strategic to the country’s growth and competitiveness, and we have been making rapid progress in rolling out digital initiatives across various departments. Automation is a key component of digitization and companies such as UiPath provide the platform to integrate automation and AI. The increasing need for automation-trained skills can be met only by providing multimodal avenues for training and certification. The UiPath-RPATech center is a good step in that direction.”
The UiPath-RPA Tech training center would offer classroom-based, instructor-led courses that lead to certifications such as RPA Technology Associate, RPA Developer, and RPA Solution Architect on the UiPath RPA platform. These courses are targeted at beginners and mid-career professionals who want to specialize in RPA and AI. UiPath is focused on democratizing RPA by making it easier to get trained and certified on RPA and AI technologies.
According to Rajeev Mittal, Managing Director – Sales, UiPath, India, “RPA is growing at such a rapid pace that we would very soon hit a demand-supply gap in the availability of RPA skills. Forrester predicts that 40% of enterprises will have automation centers and frameworks in place by the end of 2019. UiPath training partners such as RPATech are equipped to create the pool of automation-trained talent to satisfy this demand.”
Ambarish Ojha, Vice-President – Customer and Partner Success APAC, UiPath, says, “We are focused on developing the RPA ecosystem in the country. Our team is involved in training the trainers at partners such as RPATech and it has a multiplier effect in producing automation-trained talent. UiPath-certified RPA experts would be readily deployed in implementing, managing, and leading RPA projects within enterprises in India and globally.”
