How do you see the future role of distributors as the market matures and develops and how would you assess the current market conditions in India?
The distributors / partners should look at enhancing their core competencies and they must keep themselves ready for today’s dynamic market changes and fine-tune their strategies accordingly. Enterprises are keen to engage with partners who are aggressive with a sound technical background, as well as have a strong market presence in the upmarket cities in the country.
Instead of looking at standalone products, partners should focus on creating end-to-end solution and value for customers. Partners and SIs should acquire capacity and capability that can offer products structured around solutions. Metro cities and tier-II towns offer a lot of opportunities in IT consumption and they should focus on investing into new and innovative technologies.
With the advent of cloud computing, do you think that the role of distributors has undergone change?
The need to access data from multiple locations and the growing number of mobile workforce has opened up huge opportunities for distributors and channel partners to offer solutions for higher data accessibility. The role of a distributor is more of a solutions provider. They would require right solutions and equipped sales force and process to sell cloud solutions successfully. Enterprise Mobility, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cloud, Security and Virtualization are the areas where enterprise technology adoption would be high. CIOs would mainly focus on looking at value-adds that a distributor can offer, strategies to increase productivity, enabling business transformation, newer business solutions and increased competitiveness.
What are the unique selling points and value-adds that set you apart from your competitors?
Total commitment to quality, timely delivery schedule and competitive pricing are the major reasons. Eurotech experiences a high degree of trust with its customers and channel partners. Our products are environmentally beneficial and comply with all the regulatory measures. Today, SMBs are a rapidly-growing segment as they look for simple, scalable and flexible solutions. Therefore, while deploying a robust Network infrastructure, our focus is on the adoption of technology to reduce expenses, quick RoI, enhance employee productivity and time to market. In the coming days, through our robust quality systems and world-class innovation and engineering, Eurotech is committed to meet customer’s expectations at every level.
