
Varonis Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNS), a pioneer in data security and analytics, announced the appointment of Maheswaran Shamugasundaram as its first Country Manager for India. This new role will be responsible for developing Varonis' business, overseeing operations, and delivering the company's advanced data-first solutions to organizations throughout India.
Maheswaran brings more than two decades of business development and sales leadership experience to this new position. Before Varonis, he was the Regional Director at HelpSystems. Earlier, Maheswaran was the Regional Director at Titus. He spent more than a decade at Forcepoint, where he led a team of consultants driving business growth for the company's technology solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
