Digital transformation has become an absolute imperative for people to get connected to the business coordinates, what is your take on it?
Digital transformation helps organizations and its people to have access to real-time and accurate information about the businesses they are investing in, which subsequently helps in eliminating major risks involved and derive the business models and strategies with minimal risk involved. Digital transformation should be seen as a combination of Digital Strategy + Business Objectives supported by Digital Themes which will drive the ‘Future State Digital Services’.
How the technology distribution landscape is complementing for supporting hybrid work?
Hybrid work model requires a seamless and secure integration of parameters to ensure tasks performed while Working-at-Office and while Working-from-Home. Seamless distribution is the first step for enabling technology and workable solutions and platforms in this Hybrid environment. The Security aspects while Working-from-Home are required to be in-line with the parameters met during Working-at-Office. We at Redington are constantly looking to up the game by building bundles which enable hybrid work and services, address the following ask - Anywhere Talent Productivity, Flexi-work, Collaboration etc.
What opportunities can you foresee in the SMB business into the education sector?
In collaboration with Microsoft, Redington lays the path to approach multiple Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within the Education sector. The ISV’s those support with tools such as- Attendance Management System, Online Assessment System, Student Performance Analytics System, Video Based Self-Learning System, School ERP systems and many more. Such engagements with ISVs create a visibility within the SMB segment for Redington to create more opportunities.
Redington will continue to enhance collaboration with its partners for SMB space outreach and aims to enable the end customer by automation of operations and adoption of digital tools. This will only be possible by generating awareness on the value creation of adopting digital for their business, Redington is committed to bridge this gap.
How are you empowering VARs and partners in the country?
Redington, with its innovative analytics on utilizing the cutting-edge technologies within the IT Infrastructure industry in India, will support several partners including VARs by providing the best of the consulting and help them to invest on the right businesses. This helps the partners to grow their businesses along with Redington. Redington is investing and revisiting its portfolio of services by defining solution plays applicable for VAR’s and helping them adopt the same. In this direction, Redington is launching its all-new interactive partner and customer lifecycle management portal- CloudQuarks, which includes a host of new features to enable partners to accelerate their businesses.
India IT spending to grow at 5.5% in 2022, what are the opportunities you foresee as the top technology distributor?
Industry verticals such as Healthcare, Media, OTT or Entertainment, Digital Payments, Solar Energy along with digitally advanced sectors like BFSI continue to foresee growth. For Redington, these are exciting times as we expand our internal capacity to improve MoM on Partner reach, new customer acquisitions and customer retention. Distribution being our strength, we are building on it to complement our partners on the technology skills and solution capability for higher end-customer adoption and satisfaction. We believe and are confident of higher services play with our partners to enable a true end-to-end service model. The next level of support is to help partners through our world class managed service practice. We have in-house capabilities on SAP on Azure, App modernization and Security to assist our resellers customers from migration, deployment and management of end-to-end services.
