WhatsApp is taking a step further to safeguard users' privacy. The instant messaging platform is reportedly working on a feature that will allow users to lock chats not just on primary devices, but on linked devices too. This feature will allow users to protect their chats with a secret code on, hiding them from the chats list and accessing them only with the code.
As per a previous report by WA Beta Info, a new feature will be introduced by WhatApp which aims at enhancing privacy for users. The feature will enable users to safeguard their chats with a secret code, hiding them from the chats list and accessing them only with the code. The feature will be initially available only on primary devices and is expected to extend to linked devices in the future.
A recent report from the portal says that WhatsApp is working on bringing this feature to linked devices as well. Users will be able to create a secret code on their primary phone to access locked chats on linked devices. This ensures that protected conversations remain synchronised across all devices, enhancing privacy and convenience for users.
