Former SGX Group technology leader Tinku Gupta will support Wissen Technology Singapore’s growth and client engagement strategy as the company expands its regional presence through engineering services, platform modernisation and delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
Wissen Technology has appointed Tinku Gupta, former Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer of SGX Group, as Vice Chairman of Wissen Technology Singapore, as the technology services company expands its presence in the market.
The appointment follows early client engagements in Singapore, including financial services and other sectors, according to the company. Gupta will support its growth and client engagement strategy, bringing experience in enterprise technology, financial market infrastructure, business operations and cybersecurity.
Wissen said its Singapore expansion centres on engineering services and a product-engineering approach to modernising technology platforms and addressing business requirements. The company linked its client wins to its emphasis on delivery and understanding customer priorities.
Experience across technology and financial markets
Gupta brings more than 30 years of experience. At SGX, she held leadership positions across business, technology and operations, most recently serving as CIO and CTO. Her responsibilities included modernisation programmes and maintaining the resilience of trading and clearing infrastructure.
As Business Head of Market Data & Access, she worked on business growth through the development and launch of products and services.

Focus on client priorities and business outcomes

Gupta holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with First Class Honours. She has completed the AI Senior Executive programme at the National University of Singapore and a Professional Certificate in Coaching from Singapore Management University.
The appointment adds experience as Wissen seeks enterprise engagements in Singapore, with client relationships and technology delivery forming the focus of its growth strategy.
