Zoho has announced its partnership with Tamil Nadu Tiny and Small Industries Association (TANSTIA). Through this partnership, Zoho will offer TANSTIA members access to its software at discounted rates in order to help improve their digital literacy. It will also counsel and train the members on ways to automate their businesses with its world-class suite of business software.
TANSTIA members will get between 15 and 20 per cent discount on popular business software suites from Zoho.
The offers are available in three plans:
▪ Under the basic plan, members can opt for Zoho's GST-ready accounting software, Zoho Books.
▪ In the intermediate plan, they can opt for a comprehensive package of Zoho Books and Zoho CRM, the customer relationship management software.
▪ In the third plan, the enterprises can opt for the Zoho One platform, the company's all-in-one suite with more than 40 different tightly-integrated apps.
Additionally, Zoho is offering its drag-and-drop website builder, Zoho Sites at an annual discount of 25% to all TANSTIA members to enable them to get their digital address.
The announcement was made in the presence of Nagarajan S. (IAS), Director Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, S. Anburajan, President-TANSTIA, S. Vasudevan, Joint Secretary, TANSTIA and K.C. Durairaj, Joint Secretary (HQ) - TANSTIA.
Chief Guest of the evening, Nagarajan S. (IAS), outlined the Tamil Nadu Government’s efforts to help the growth of MSMEs in the state. He hoped that the partnership between TANSTIA and Zoho will help in fostering a healthy environment in the state, attracting more investments in the MSME sector and also create jobs.
S.Anburajan says, "TANSTIA has been serving the industry for over 50 years now and it has been our mission to strengthen the MSME sector. We have been working closely with Government organisations to bring the latest technologies and provide adequate skill training to the small and tiny industries. Our target right now is to get some momentum going and attract investments in MSME sector in Tamil Nadu which can lead to further job creation. The MoU (memorandum of understanding) with Zoho will help take the MSMEs in Tamil Nadu to the next level."
Rajendran Dandapani, Director of Engineering, Zoho Corp says, "Some of the small enterprises are only recently moving their businesses online by creating websites, enhancing their social media presence and even figuring out ways to incorporate digital signatures to their documents. At Zoho, we have on-boarded several thousands of small enterprises across the globe and helped them with their digital transformation. We can provide the knowledge transfer required to TANSTIA members and be a friend in need."
TANSTIA, which has been providing services to the small and tiny industries by way of organizing trade shows and hosting expert meets among other events, has entered its Golden Jubilee year.
Going forward, Zoho and TANSTIA will create user educational content in Tamil to help the entrepreneurs with their digitization efforts.
