Tesco Business Solutions, in collaboration with KPMG has announced the launch of the GCC Leadership Circle, an exclusive, peer-driven forum designed to bring together senior leaders from Global Capability Centres (GCCs) to exchange perspectives on the next phase of GCC evolution. The GCC Leadership Circle is designed as an ongoing platform for senior leaders to connect, share insights, and engage in open discussions as the GCC landscape continues to evolve.
Over the past decade, GCCs have transitioned from cost and capability centres to becoming strategic drivers of enterprise value. Today, they stand at a defining inflection point, not only enabling global businesses but increasingly shaping enterprise strategy, innovation, and competitive advantage. “At Tesco Business Solutions, our transformation has been deliberate and focused on staying consistently ahead of the curve. Being recognized as the World’s Best Global Business Services twice in three years, and as the first organisation inducted into the GBS Hall of Fame (2026–2029), reflects our commitment to redefining value through embedding AI into everyday operations, evolving from services to solutions, and building a model that is deeply integrated with business strategy and outcomes,” said Sumit Mitra, CEO, Tesco Business Solutions and Tesco India.
Today, Tesco Business Solutions operates as a strategic partner to the Tesco Group, driving impact across functions, markets, and transformation agendas, offering a practical view of what a truly future-ready GCC can look like at scale. The GCC Leadership Circle builds on this experience, not as a showcase, but as an opportunity for participants to experience it first-hand and engage in an honest, peer-led exchange on what lies ahead.
Through this closed-door, discussion-led roundtable, the initiative aims to -
● Exchange candid perspectives on how GCCs are evolving in a rapidly changing global landscape.
● Explore what “future-ready” truly means, across AI, operating models, talent, and governance.
● Discuss the shift from capability delivery to enterprise impact, and how GCCs can shape business outcomes.
● Share real, experience-led insights, including what has worked, what hasn’t, and what could be done differently.
Looking ahead, this journey continues to evolve. With the Tesco Board’s mandate to extend its learnings beyond the enterprise, Tesco Business Solutions is shaping a new B2B proposition – OmniSol which is grounded in the experience and capabilities built within TBS. The GCC Leadership Circle is a natural extension of this philosophy, enabling Tesco to share its expertise, collaborate with industry peers, and contribute to the broader GCC ecosystem.
