Qualcomm is set to launch its first-ever global Edge AI Developer Hackathon series on June 14–15, 2025, at its Bengaluru campus. This event marks a significant step in Qualcomm’s effort to empower India’s growing developer community and establish the country as a key player in on-device AI advancements.
The hackathon invites engineers, students, and emerging developers from across India to collaborate, innovate, and demonstrate cutting-edge AI applications using next-generation platforms. Participants will benefit from expert mentorship and hands-on experience with the latest hardware, making this a prime opportunity to showcase India’s technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit on a global stage.
Microsoft has joined as the global partner for the event, while Sarvam AI serves as the model partner. The 24-hour competition offers exciting rewards, including Snapdragon-powered ASUS laptops for winners, features on Qualcomm’s developer blog, and live spotlight sessions on Discord. Additionally, the Popularization Award offers a POCO F6 Deadpool Edition smartphone along with extensive digital exposure across Qualcomm’s platforms.
With plans to host more editions across India, Qualcomm aims to foster grassroots innovation and nurture local AI talent, helping Indian developers shape the future of global AI technology. Registration for the Bengaluru hackathon is open until May 31, 2025, with limited seats available.
