“We value the relationship we have built resulting from 15 years of close collaboration and are excited to continue this journey for many years to come, with Snapdragon platforms powering Xiaomi’s premium smartphones. The next-generation Snapdragon 8-series will debut in Xiaomi’s upcoming premium smartphones later this year, continuing their tradition of delivering powerful performance and top-tier mobile experiences. Qualcomm’s platforms have powered every generation of Xiaomi phones since the Mi 1 in 2011, most recently featuring in the successful Xiaomi 15 series, which launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite — the world’s fastest mobile SoC.
Beyond smartphones, Xiaomi's 2023 SU7 electric vehicle integrated Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and Snapdragon Auto 5G Modem-RF to deliver immersive in-car experiences. Their collaboration also powers smart home devices with Wi-Fi 7, and wearables like the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (Snapdragon S7+ Gen 1) and Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro (Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1).
This strengthened alliance highlights both companies' long-term vision to lead the future of AI-driven connected devices worldwide.
