Official Launch at World Wetlands Day Celebration
The partnership was officially launched during the World Wetlands Day celebration at the Parvati Arga Bird Sanctuary in Gonda. The event was graced by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Minister of State for Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh, highlighting the government’s strong commitment to fostering women-led startups and strengthening e-commerce adoption in rural areas.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of digital inclusion for women entrepreneurs, stating,
"With Amazon’s support, these Self-Help Groups (SHGs) now have the opportunity to sell their products online. While our products have always been of high quality, we have now addressed packaging challenges, and with organizations like Amazon onboard, marketing hurdles are also being overcome."
A significant aspect of this partnership is the ability for Brand ARGA to list its wide range of regional specialties on Amazon.in, including:
Pickles, jams, and namkeen
Flour and gram flour-based products
Handmade noodles and other traditional food items
