The Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology (ASIRT) successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Parle International, Mumbai. The event was followed by the association’s flagship TechDay #130, making it a day of governance, democratic participation, and knowledge sharing.
The AGM began at 4 PM with strong member participation. Proceedings included the reading and approval of the previous AGM minutes, presentation of financials by the Treasurer, and a review of the year’s activities, initiatives, and achievements. Members reaffirmed ASIRT’s commitment to accountability and collaborative growth.
Earlier in the day, ASIRT held its first-ever contested elections, marking a historic step in its journey. Conducted via a secure e-ballot system, the election allowed every eligible member to cast their votes digitally, ensuring fairness and transparency.
Four candidates contested for three open Board positions: Gaurang Bhatt (Gaj Data Solutions LLP), Hiren Kuvadia (Data Skill Systems), Kartik Kaji (Ktronics), and Rohan Shah (Jet Refill World).
The results, announced by Returning Officer Manish Harshad Kamdar during the AGM, declared Hiren Kuvadia, Kartik Kaji, and Rohan Shah as elected members, while Gaurang Bhatt narrowly missed a spot. The process set a benchmark for democratic participation within ASIRT.
Immediately after the AGM, ASIRT hosted TechDay #130, featuring Alcatel Lucent Enterprise. The session highlighted new solutions, business opportunities, and strategies for system integrators.
With practical insights and innovative tools, the TechDay perfectly complemented the AGM, underscoring ASIRT’s dual focus on governance and industry enablement.
