B2BAdda.com goes deeper into rural India
2018-06-26B2BAdda.com has forged a strategic alliance with RADARSS, a technology-enabled distribution platform for its Retail-Mitr (R-Mitr) Project. The project aims at enabling retailers in rural parts of the country to acquire goods from wholesalers without having to step out of their stores, thus connecting small towns and villages across the country to a range of products and services, all via an app. With this tie-up, B2BAdda.com expects its new customers to come from tier-3 cities and smaller towns.
RADARSS has a network of offline partners across retail points like Kirana stores, medical stores, mobile shopping outlets and local entrepreneurs. Its project – “R-Mitr” facilitates more than 4,000 retailers across remote areas of Varanasi, Jaunpur and Chandauli districts in UP and Jaipur & Sikar District in Rajasthan. These retailers deal in all kinds of FMCG products. In order to expand its reach in the nooks and corners of the country, B2BAdda.com will be providing mobiles and mobile accessories of Detel (world's most economical feature phone brand) to RADARSS to propel the idea of “Connecting the Unconnected”.
Within 3 years of its inception, B2BAdda.com has successfully roped in major brands across categories like Mobile & Tablets, IT Products, and Complete Electronic Product Range and has developed a customer base of more than 50,000. With a strong network of over 15 Experience Zones across the country, serving as touchpoints for its B2B customers, B2BAdda.com aims to further strengthen its offline connect with B2B customers in the country. The platform will soon add more categories to its extensive product portfolio.
Commenting on the development, Yogesh Bhatia, Founder, B2BAdda.com, says, “We are glad to partner with RADARSS to extend our efficient distribution to retailers in the rural parts of the country. We are banking on R-Mitr’s transactional data with respect to over 4,000 retailers. We aim at building B2BAdda.com as the most reliable distribution platform for brands across categories by reaching to the remotest parts of the country.”
B2BAdda.com has recently launched an Entrepreneurship programme in association with the Mumbai Dabbawala Association to enable Dabbawalas to run their own businesses with an investment of just Rs.5,000. The mobiles and accessories range of Detel is within the price segment of Rs.399 to Rs.1,099.
