 
                                Marking a key milestone in India's data infrastructure push, Bharat Forge’s subsidiary Kalyani Powertrain will soon enter the Indian server market in collaboration with AMD. The company announced its plans highlighting the integration of AMD’s technology with domestically manufactured solutions.
Kalyani Group Chairman Baba Kalyani and Vice Chairman & JMD Amit Kalyani said the partnership aligns with India's 'Make in India' initiative and will bolster the country’s technological capabilities.
"This collaboration with AMD is a significant step, and I am confident that we are moving in the right direction," they said in a joint statement.
The alliance is said to cater to India’s growing need for high-performance computing across industries such as automotive, telecom, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (AI). The servers produced through this partnership will feature AMD EPYC processors, known for their energy efficiency, security features, and cost-effectiveness for data centres.
There are also plans to incorporate AMD Instinct accelerators in the future to enhance AI and high-performance computing capabilities. AMD will also provide design collateral and technical documentation to support the electronics division of Kalyani Powertrain in developing these solutions to meet global standards.
