Data Science Wizards has announced the continued advancement of its enterprise AI operating system, DSW UnifyAI OS, designed to help organizations, particularly in banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), run artificial intelligence as a governed, production-grade system across the enterprise.
UnifyAI OS functions as a horizontal AI layer that enables enterprises to build, integrate, deploy, govern, and operate AI systems within a unified environment.
The system supports deployment across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, allowing enterprises the flexibility to choose their infrastructure, hyperscalers, and compute based on their specific requirements.
UnifyAI OS enables enterprises to retain full ownership of all AI artifacts, including models, agents, workflows, and associated source code, while avoiding vendor lock-in and maintaining long-term control over their AI systems.
The development comes as enterprises across BFSI increasingly look for structured ways to scale AI beyond isolated use cases.
As enterprises expand AI adoption into core operations, the focus is shifting from building models to running AI reliably, securely, and continuously in real-world environments. However, many enterprise setups remain fragmented, limiting control, visibility, and scalability.
UnifyAI OS addresses this shift by introducing a system layer for AI, enabling organisations to run machine learning and agentic workloads within a continuous, governed execution environment.
Importantly, UnifyAI OS does not replace traditional operating systems such as Linux, Unix, or Windows. Instead, it operates as a governed AI layer that builds, integrates, deploys, and runs AI workloads on top of existing infrastructure.
Built for regulated environments, the system ensures full data sovereignty and enterprise custody of AI assets, enabling compliance, control, and auditability.
The operating system also enables enterprises to build their own AI-native ecosystems, integrate external tools without structural dependency, and scale AI without vendor lock-in.
Governance is embedded directly into execution, allowing enterprises to monitor, control, and manage AI systems in real time.
Notably, over 150 machine learning and agentic AI use cases are already running in production on UnifyAI OS within insurance environments, demonstrating its real-world applicability in regulated sectors.
Sandeep Khuperkar, Founder & CEO, Data Science Wizards said, “Enterprises are moving beyond AI experimentation to making it a core part of their operations. The real challenge today is not building models, but running AI reliably at scale with control and accountability. What we are seeing now especially across BFSI is a growing need for systems that can bring structure and consistency to how AI is deployed. With UnifyAI OS, we are enabling that shift from fragmented AI initiatives to a system-level approach while giving enterprises full ownership and flexibility.”
The growing adoption of UnifyAI OS in BFSI reflects a broader shift in enterprise AI toward structured, reliable, and scalable operating environments. As AI becomes integral to business operations, ensuring consistency, accountability, and long-term stability is becoming a critical priority for enterprises.
