Gemini Live will now be accessible to Hindi speakers

Samsung is making a major move in the AI space with its upcoming Galaxy S25 series, launching on February 4. The new smartphones will be the first to support Google’s Gemini Live in both Hindi and Korean, expanding its accessibility beyond the English language. This new feature is a clear indication of Samsung's growing commitment to the Indian market, as well as its focus on providing cutting-edge AI experiences to users globally.

Breaking language barriers

Previously, Gemini Live was available only in English in India. However, with the Galaxy S25, users will now be able to engage with the AI-powered voice chatbot in Hindi, allowing for a more personalized and localized experience. This feature is expected to be rolled out to other Android devices, including eligible Pixel smartphones, in the coming days. Users will need to update the Gemini app to the latest version to access the new language options.

In addition to the Gemini Live update, Samsung is offering Galaxy S25 buyers a complimentary six-month subscription to the Google One AI Premium Plan, valued at ₹1,950 per month. This plan provides users with 2TB of cloud storage, deeper integration of Gemini across Google and Samsung apps, and enhanced image editing capabilities through Google Photos.

With the inclusion of Hindi and Korean in Gemini Live, Samsung continues to cater to a diverse customer base, reinforcing its strategic focus on both global and local markets. This move underscores Samsung's continued push to provide superior AI-driven experiences to its users, particularly in India where the smartphone giant sees immense growth potential.
