In a bid to encourage space exploration, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in collaboration with IIIT Hyderabad's National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) has announced the ISRO Immersion Startup Challenge. The AI for Space Immersion Startup Challenge is a dynamic platform where startups, researchers, students, and industry leaders converge to explore, innovate, and collaborate. It is designed to nurture the next generation of space-tech pioneers.
"The challenge is not just about competition; it's about collaboration," says Dr Srinivas K Director of NRSC. "We aim to harness the power of AI to solve complex challenges in space and geospatial domains, fostering breakthrough innovations and preparing participants for a future-ready space industry."
Participants can choose between the two below distinct tracks tailored to their expertise -
· Startup Challenge: Open to early-stage startups and established companies pioneering AI-powered solutions for space.
· Student/Research Challenge: Geared towards researchers and students in senior engineering and science disciplines, focusing on advancing AI applications in the space sector.
Attendees will benefit from immersive interactions with ISRO scientists and industry stalwarts, gaining insights into cutting-edge advancements and future trends in space technology.
