Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, is scheduled to travel to India in December for his second visit this year, according to multiple sources.
During his visit, Nadella is expected to participate in two major AI-related conferences—one in Bengaluru and another in Mumbai—while also holding high-level meetings in New Delhi with senior government officials and key industry stakeholders.
This trip comes as Microsoft continues to deepen its strategic focus on India’s booming AI and cloud market. Earlier this year, Nadella announced a $3 billion investment in India to expand AI and cloud infrastructure.
With India positioning itself as a global technology hub, the visit also aligns with broader agendas around innovation, skills development, and regulatory dialogue, especially in the context of U.S.–India trade and digital partnerships.
Nadella’s itinerary will also include engagements with Microsoft’s local workforce—across more than 20,000 employees in 10 Indian cities—and leading enterprise and developer communities to reinforce Microsoft’s commitment to the region
