The new Operator AI capability enables users to automate multi-step workflows through simple instructions, marking a shift from interaction-based computing to execution-driven systems across the Primebook 2 lineup of devices.
Primebook has announced PrimeAGNT (Operator AI), a new artificial intelligence capability integrated directly into its proprietary operating system, PrimeOS. The feature is designed to move beyond traditional AI assistance by enabling systems to execute multi-step tasks autonomously based on user instructions. PrimeAGNT will be available across the Primebook 2 lineup, including Primebook 2 Neo, Primebook 2 Pro, and Primebook 2 Max.
The development reflects what the company describes as a shift toward an “Operator Era of Computing,” where users define desired outcomes while the system handles execution. Unlike conventional AI tools that require step-by-step user input, PrimeAGNT interprets intent and carries out actions across multiple applications.
“Computing has largely been interaction-driven for decades. You click, type, and coordinate tasks yourself,” said Chitranshu Mahant, CEO of Primebook. “With PrimeAGNT, you simply state the outcome, and the system begins executing it.”
From assistance to autonomous execution
PrimeAGNT is embedded at the core of PrimeOS, allowing it to function across the entire system rather than as a standalone application. This deep integration enables the AI to coordinate workflows, interact with multiple platforms, and automate processes without requiring additional software or integrations.
The system can analyse on-screen content and perform tasks accordingly, working across applications such as email, browsers, LinkedIn, calendars, and messaging platforms. It also supports background execution, allowing users to continue other activities while tasks are completed simultaneously.
Examples of its capabilities include automating job applications, converting chat conversations into structured study plans, generating weekly reports from ongoing work, and even assisting in building application features by integrating APIs and workflows.
AI-native computing and future roadmap
According to Primebook, PrimeAGNT is built with deep integration at the framework and kernel level of PrimeOS, enabling it to learn from user behaviour and improve task execution over time. The company emphasised that the system has been developed in-house, with a focus on responsible AI practices and user data privacy.
“What we’ve built is not just another AI feature, but an execution layer within the OS that makes PrimeOS among the first Agentic AI OS in the world,” said Aman Verma, COO of Primebook. “It changes how the system understands intent and performs tasks, moving from assistance to execution.”
PrimeAGNT is expected to enter beta rollout by mid-April, during which the company will refine its capabilities based on real-world usage and user feedback.
