The much-anticipated second edition of Startup Mahakumbh is set to take place from April 3–5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, promising to be India’s largest startup event. This year’s gathering will feature 3,000 startups, 1,000+ investors, 10,000+ international delegates, and 50,000+ business visitors, creating an unparalleled platform for innovation and collaboration.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, which saw participation from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this year’s event is themed “Startup India @ 2047—Unfolding the Bharat Story.” It will focus on shaping India’s startup future by driving discussions on innovation, policy, and economic transformation while providing networking opportunities for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers.
A key attraction will be the sector-focused pavilions, covering industries such as AI, deep tech, cybersecurity, healthtech, agritech, fintech, mobility, defence, and space technology. Attendees can engage with live demonstrations, masterclasses, investor pitching sessions, and panel discussions. Notable startups in mobility (Ather, Rapido), D2C(Appliance.AI, Go Desi), and biotech (UR Advanced Therapeutics, Brain Sight AI) will be showcased.
The event will also feature prominent speakers, including Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Nithin Kamath (Zerodha), and Kris Gopalakrishnan (Infosys), who will share insights on fintech, AI policy, and brand strategy. Adding star power, Bollywood investors like Sonam Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and Rana Daggubati will also participate, bridging the gap between entertainment and entrepreneurship.
A major highlight will be the unveiling of groundbreaking innovations, including a D2C product launch and a flying taxi demonstration. A highly anticipated session, “Rivals in Business, Allies in Disruption,” will feature a dynamic faceoff between SNITCH and The Souled Store, offering insights into competitive collaboration.
Organized by FICCI in collaboration with ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, TiE, and IVCA, and supported by DPIIT, Startup Mahakumbh 2025 is a flagship initiative driving India’s innovation ecosystem. With a successful track record of attracting over 48,000 business visitors and 1,300+ startups in its first edition, the event aims to further accelerate India’s journey toward becoming a global startup powerhouse.
