Tech Mahindra employees free to choose work from anywhere

Tech Mahindra has allowed its employees to choose where they want to work from. The Covid-19 pandemic has made it difficult for companies to choose how their employees work.

This highlights that the company is conscious about the physical and mental health of the employees which has been primarily caused by the spreading of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like other companies, Tech Mahindra has left the decision on its employees to choose where they want to work from. The company has understood the apprehensions about commuting to the office, social distancing, and hygiene when the COVID-19 is spreading rampantly.

The company has also made it clear that all the necessary precautions will be taken regarding hygiene and sanitation for the employees who wish to work from the workplace. These measures include daily checks on temperature, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and also the mood of the employees.

After the government partially allowed the IT firms to restart their operations, some of these firms started calling their employees back to work. Some of the companies are operating with 10% of the workforce capacity from office on a rotational basis.
