Roads in Bihar ‘s 10 districts will now be looked after by AI, so that road accidents are minimal. To reduce the number of road mishaps in the state, the Electronic Monitoring and Information of Road Safety will be done under the Capital Investment Scheme 2025-26 of the Central Government, in which the expenditure will be borne by them. This scheme will be expanded to speed camera, CCTV, speed gun, body camera from place to place.
Currently there is a plan to increase monitoring through electronic devices on National Highway and State Highway. There are also plans to monitor 138 accident prone places, more density divisions and important intersections in 10 districts. For this, guidelines have been sent to the officers posted in the districts.
At the same time, a goal has been sought to meet all the deficiencies identified in the reasons for road accidents. In these places, the team of all the departments related to road safety will jointly prepare a report. Based on this, the reasons for the accident on dangerous roads will be dealt with.
The E-detection system will also work at all crowded crossings. According to the traffic department, this system will automatically check the validity of fitness, insurance, and pollution certificates by capturing or entering the number of vehicles on toll plates.
Automatic e-challan will be issued if the document is found to be found. This system will also be expanded to other districts.
