US-headquartered Evolution Cloud Services (EVOCS) has announced its entry into India with the launch of Velloe, its Indian entity focused on AI-ready infrastructure, cloud transformation, intelligent operations and next-generation data centre ecosystems. The launch was marked by the presence of Thomas Joseph Marcin, Co-Founder and CEO, EVOCS APAC, and William Higgo, Senior Director - Process Mining & Automation.
As part of its India growth strategy, EVOCS plans to invest ₹100 crores towards strengthening Velloe’s operations, expanding technology capabilities and building specialized talent across AI, cloud infrastructure, digital engineering and managed services. Starting with its Noida office and a team of over 100 professionals, Velloe plans to expand its workforce to 250 employees over the next 18-24 months, along with establishing offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai.
At a time when conversations around AI are largely centred on automation and workforce disruption, Velloe believes the next phase of AI adoption will create demand for a new category of specialised technology professionals. The company’s India expansion will focus on building capabilities across AI infrastructure, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, intelligent operations and infrastructure management.
The launch marks a strategic expansion for EVOCS as India emerges as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for AI adoption, cloud modernisation and data centre development. Founded in the United States, EVOCS has expanded its footprint across 9 global locations spanning North America, South America and Asia-Pacific, including the United States, Argentina, India, Malaysia and Singapore. Through Velloe, the company aims to bring its global expertise across cloud infrastructure, AI-driven operations, digital engineering, observability, cybersecurity, managed services and data centre ecosystems to Indian enterprises.
Velloe will serve as a bridge between EVOCS’ global technology expertise and India’s rapidly evolving digital ecosystem, enabling knowledge transfer, global delivery capabilities and development of next-generation technology talent from India.
The expansion comes at a time when India is witnessing rapid growth in AI adoption, digital public infrastructure, enterprise cloud transformation and hyperscale data centre development. While businesses are accelerating their AI ambitions, many organisations continue to face challenges around fragmented infrastructure, cloud optimization, cybersecurity, scalability and operational readiness.
Velloe aims to bridge this gap by helping enterprises build AI-ready digital foundations through cloud modernisation, infrastructure optimization, automation, security-first architecture and intelligent managed operations.
Speaking on the India expansion, Arvind Sharma, President, EVOCS India, said, “India is not just a growth market for EVOCS; it is a strategic innovation hub. With exceptional engineering talent, strong enterprise demand and a rapidly expanding digital ecosystem, India is uniquely positioned to become a global leader in AI-powered infrastructure. Through Velloe, our vision is to build capabilities that help organisations accelerate innovation and unlock measurable business outcomes from their AI and digital transformation investments.”
Over the next three to five years, India will play a critical role in EVOCS’ global strategy across innovation, talent development and market expansion. The company aims to build Velloe India as a centre for AI infrastructure and digital engineering excellence.
With AI workloads increasing globally, data centres are emerging as the backbone of the digital economy. Backed by its international experience across multiple markets, EVOCS brings global expertise across data centre ecosystems, infrastructure management, intelligent operations, cloud architecture and digital transformation. Its global delivery presence enables enterprises to access international expertise while building solutions aligned with local market requirements.
Velloe will initially focus on industries where technology infrastructure has become mission-critical, including Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), government and public sector, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, telecom, retail and e-commerce, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), and data centre ecosystem participants.
EVOCS is actively engaging with enterprise customers, cloud ecosystem partners, technology providers and infrastructure stakeholders in India, with strategic collaborations and customer success stories expected to be announced in the coming months.
