X, formerly known as Twitter and led by Elon Musk, has raised the price of its Premium+ subscription plan by nearly 35%, a move that affects users in both the United States and India. While the prices for other subscription tiers—Basic and Premium—remain unchanged, Premium+ subscribers will now pay more for the platform’s highest level of service.
In India, the monthly cost of the Premium+ plan has risen from Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,750, while the annual subscription will now be priced at Rs 18,300. This plan offers the most advanced features on the platform, including an entirely ad-free browsing experience, the largest reply boost, and exclusive access to the Grok 2 AI Assistant.
For those on a budget, X offers the Basic and Premium plans. The Basic plan costs Rs 245 per month, while the Premium plan is priced at Rs 650 per month. Annual subscriptions for these plans cost Rs 2,590 and Rs 6,800, respectively.
The Premium+ plan is tailored for users who seek a comprehensive and enhanced experience. It includes advanced features such as the ability to post longer videos, access to X Pro and Media Studio, advanced analytics, and the option to monetize posts via Creator Subscriptions. Premium+ subscribers also benefit from a verification checkmark, encrypted direct messages, optional ID verification, and customization options like app icons and navigation tweaks.
This price hike for the Premium+ plan reflects X's ongoing efforts to enhance user experience through more exclusive features. The plan is designed for content creators, businesses, and users seeking maximum functionality and benefits from the platform, making it the ultimate option for those wanting to fully engage with the platform's offerings.
