Gmail introduces AI ‘insert’ button for Android users

With the new insert button, users can now add AI-generated replies to their drafts with just a tap on the diagonal arrow icon. This eliminates the need for manual copying and typing, making it quicker and easier to reply to emails. After the text is inserted, users can still review and edit the content as necessary, ensuring that the final response is exactly as they want it. This enhancement significantly improves the overall experience for users relying on AI-powered email writing.

Gemini’s expanding capabilities

The insert button is just one of the new smart email features available through Gemini in Gmail. In addition to generating replies, Gemini can now summarize emails, retrieve information from past messages, and create Google Calendar events directly from email content.
