DCP East Shashank Singh confirmed that Bharat Kumar, 30, from Mahanagar, was allegedly murdered during a delivery of an iPhone worth ₹1.5 lakh. The accused, Gajanan from Chinhat, ordered the phone with cash-on-delivery.
Kumar was reportedly strangled by Gajanan and his accomplice, Akash, during the delivery on September 23. One suspect has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing to locate Kumar's body, which is believed to have been disposed of in a canal.
