Optiemus Infracom has appointed A. Gururaj as the Managing Director of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), to focus on a new growth trajectory in telecommunications manufacturing.
Gururaj has previously spearheaded organizations in India such as Reliance Communications, Flextronics Technologies India, TVS Electronics, Toyota group company and AMP Inc., Palo Alto, California.
Gururaj was also the Managing Director of Wistron India between 2016 and 2019 where he played a crucial role in setting up a large greenfield manufacturing plant in Bangalore.
He has also been instrumental in setting up the manufacturing greenfield for Flextronics in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, India. He has also served as an advisor to the various state governments to promote Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) in India.
