Acer has introduced its latest generation of thin-and-light Copilot+ laptops under the Swift brand, designed to combine powerful AI performance with ultra-portable form factors. The newly launched Swift Edge 14 AI and Swift Go AI Series are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 200V Series processors with integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), delivering over 40 TOPS to handle advanced AI workloads and Microsoft Copilot+ features.
Swift Edge 14 AI
The Swift Edge 14 AI (SFE14-51/T) stands out with a weight of just 0.99 kg, making it one of the lightest 14-inch AI laptops available. It features a 14-inch 3K OLED edge-to-edge display, covering 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, offering cinema-grade visuals. Acer also introduces Corning Gorilla Glass with Matte Pro surface treatment, which reduces reflections by up to 95%, significantly improving outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, it’s powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor paired with Intel Arc graphics, enabling smooth image processing, AI upscaling, and generative content creation. Storage and memory options include up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The laptop offers up to 21 hours of battery life, making it suitable for all-day productivity.
Acer has also focused on usability with features such as a fingerprint reader with light indicator, an AI Activity Indicator built into the touchpad, and a soft-touch keyboard. Constructed from magnesium-aluminum alloy and compliant with MIL-STD 810H, it combines durability with elegant design. Connectivity includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A ports, and Wi-Fi 7 support.
Swift Go 16 AI and 14 AI
The Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-74/T) and Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-75/T) laptops offer a balance of performance and affordability. They are equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processors with Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs.
Both models come with vibrant OLED displays. The Swift Go 16 features a 16-inch 2K OLED (2048x1280) display, while the Swift Go 14 sports a 14-inch WUXGA OLED (1920x1200) panel. Both displays are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified and Eyesafe 2.0-certified, reducing eye strain and offering high contrast visuals.
For enhanced usability, Acer has integrated the new Multi-Control Touchpad, allowing users to control media playback and conferencing features like play, pause, and screen share directly from the touchpad. The new Acer MyKey feature enables one-click access to a predefined set of applications.
With battery life of up to 16 hours of web usage, both models cater to students, remote workers, and families needing reliable, lightweight devices. The laptops are just 15.9 mm thick, contributing to their portability.
AI, Security, and Sustainability
All new Swift AI models are equipped with 1080p IR webcams that support Windows Hello facial recognition and Acer User Sensing to lock or wake the screen based on user presence. Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, paired with triple mics, ensures clear audio during video calls.
Additional features include Acer Assist, a local AI tool that searches documents offline for privacy and security, and support for HDMI 2.1, USB-C, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and DTS:X Ultra audio for immersive experiences.
Aligning with Acer’s Earthion sustainability goals, the devices use post-consumer recycled plastics, 100% recycled packaging, and carry EPEAT Gold certification.
