ACT Fibernet has taken yet another step towards aiding the Karnataka government and contributing to their tireless endeavours in overcoming the Novel CoronaVirus pandemic. As a means to safeguard all the health staff and workers of the BBMP who have been fighting first from their line of work to counter the disease, ACT Fibernet has donated 1 lakh masks to support and stand with them in solidarity.
The severity of the pandemic has been affecting people across Bangalore at large, making the efforts of these health workers and staff even more critical at this juncture. 1 lakh masks have been personally handed over by Bala Malladi; CEO, ACT Fibernet to Gautam Jain, Mayor of Bengaluru, Mohan Raju, Dy. Mayor, Manjunath Raju, Chairman, BBMP Standing Committee for Health, and Abdul Wajid, Leader, Opposition party at BBMP Council.
The mayor thanking the company and says "ACT Fibernet is the leading Internet company of Bangalore and it's really nice that they have come forward to give 1 lakh masks to BBMP which would be used by the health employees of BBMP. This is the largest contribution of masks by a single organisation. When they could have done it on their own, they found it more responsible to join hands with BBMP. I thank their CEO Mr. Malladi for this wonderful gesture." Further on, BBMP commissioner B. H. Anil Kumar thanked ACT Fibernet for their helpful initiative as it has set an example for other corporates.

The company has consistently through its initiatives and measures tried to ensure that the disease be contained and people can remain safe within the confines of their homes. These masks will be utilized as precautionary measures by BBMP health and staff workers, to ensure that they are constantly protected as they aim to work towards sanitizing and keeping the city clean from the spread of the virus. The company acknowledges and lauds the efforts of these health workers and staff who have been a pillar of support and are holding the entire ecosystem together through their dedication.
