Altos Computing, a subsidiary of Acer, has announced the launch of its next-generation Altos BrainSphere GB10 F1 AI workstation, a compact yet powerful system built entirely on the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell architecture. Designed to deliver desktop-level AI performance, the workstation integrates Altos’ newly developed aiGeni software platform, offering one-click deployment, intelligent tools, and real-time resource management for developers, researchers, and educational institutions.
Compact powerhouse for advanced AI workloads
The BrainSphere GB10 F1 features the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which combines a Blackwell GPU with a 20-core Arm CPU. The system includes 128GB of unified memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD, leveraging NVIDIA’s NVLink-C2C technology to enable high-speed communication between the CPU and GPU. Despite its small footprint, the workstation delivers up to 1 PetaFLOP of computing performance—capable of handling large language model fine-tuning, generative AI tasks, and AI agent development.
With a NVIDIA ConnectX-7 Ethernet NIC, the GB10 F1 supports dual-system interconnection and can process models with up to 405 billion parameters. It comes preloaded with the NVIDIA AI software stack and supports leading AI tools such as PyTorch, Jupyter, and Ollama, allowing users to deploy workloads locally or extend them to NVIDIA DGX Cloud and other accelerated infrastructures.
Altos aiGeni: Simplifying AI development
The new Altos aiGeni platform, pre-installed on the workstation, offers a one-click AI development experience. It automates environment setup for frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, provides real-time hardware monitoring, and includes automated data backup for enhanced reliability.
Jackie Lee, CEO of Altos Computing Inc., said, “Generative AI is reshaping industries, and the challenge lies in turning creativity into reality faster. With integrated hardware and software, Altos delivers a flexible and secure foundation to accelerate innovation across academia and enterprise.”
The launch marks Altos’ continued commitment to advancing AI infrastructure and enabling seamless, high-performance computing experiences at the desktop level.
