Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced availability of a structured package of resources for start-ups including AWS credits, training, developer support, a special start-up community forum and special offers from third parties named “AWS Activate”. It is designed to enable start-ups of different types to easily and quickly get started with AWS and successfully use the AWS platform to help grow their businesses.
AWS Activate is designed to address start-ups’ needs for technology, support, knowledge sharing and additional resources that make it even easier to use the cloud to grow their businesses.

With the Self-Starter package, start-ups will receive access to the AWS Free Usage Tier; One month of Developer-level AWS Support; Web-based training and one self-paced lab; AWS Start-up Forum; Access to offers on products from select third-party companies; AWS credits; Business-level AWS Support for up to one year; Web-based and instructor-led training, including class labs and credit for four self-paced labs; Start-up Forum privileges and access to offers on products from select third-party companies.
