Cato Networks has announced the appointment of Amit Chopra as its new Country Manager for India and SAARC, marking a strategic move to accelerate the company’s growth across one of the world’s most dynamic cybersecurity markets. In his new role, Chopra will lead Cato’s regional business expansion, drive enterprise adoption of its SASE platform, and strengthen partnerships across India and South Asia.
With over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, cloud networking, and enterprise sales, Chopra brings deep industry expertise to Cato Networks. He has previously held senior leadership roles at major technology companies, including MongoDB, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper Networks, where he successfully built high-performance teams and executed market-winning strategies.
Chopra’s appointment comes at a time when enterprises in the region are rapidly adopting cloud-native security and networking architectures to support digital transformation. His focus will include enhancing Cato’s partner ecosystem, scaling customer engagements, and positioning the company as a preferred SASE provider across large enterprises and mid-market customers.
Commenting on his new role, industry watchers note that Chopra’s extensive background in go-to-market leadership and cybersecurity positions him well to drive Cato’s next phase of regional expansion. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the company’s footprint in India and SAARC as demand for unified, secure, cloud-delivered networking continues to surge.
