
Mumbai’s startup Eduisfun will see a few good hearts investing. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan along with HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh has invested nearly 200 cr in the start-up. Ogilvy group Chief Creative Officer Piyush Pandey and PwC partner Russel Perreria are among the other names who have invested in the start-up.
Founded in 2014, the startup offers learning based games to school students.
The edtech startup Eduisfun recently launched a 1 lakh scholarship for financially disadvantaged students and has tied up with residential schools such as those under Maharashtra’s tribal development department.
In 2014, ex- IITans Praveen Tyagi (ex-IITD) and Jatin Solanki (IITB) founded the edtech to inspire students, engage parents and empower educators to ensure students achieve full potential.
Looking at the success of some of the edtech apps like BYJU’S, the edtech industry is sure to bloom in coming years.
