Ankur Kohli Joins Utimaco to Drive India Growth

New Delhi :Ankur Kohli has joined Utimaco as Sales Head – Government & Enterprise, India, taking on a strategic leadership role focused on accelerating the cybersecurity company’s growth across India’s government and enterprise markets. His appointment comes as organizations increase investments in digital trust, data protection, cryptography and cyber resilience.

In his new role, Kohli will work closely with government organizations, large enterprises, partners and the broader technology ecosystem to strengthen Utimaco’s market presence. His mandate will include building strategic customer relationships, expanding business opportunities and developing stronger engagement across key accounts and channels.

Utimaco operates globally in cybersecurity and data protection, with capabilities spanning Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management, PKI, data protection, secure payments and Trust-as-a-Service. Its portfolio is becoming increasingly relevant as enterprises prepare for emerging requirements around AI security, data sovereignty and quantum-safe cryptography.

Kohli brings extensive experience across cybersecurity sales, alliances, system integration, OEM businesses, strategic accounts and channel development. Before joining Utimaco, he served as Vertical Head – Network & Cyber Security at Intensity Global Technologies, where his responsibilities included cybersecurity sales and alliances, business growth and customer engagement. Earlier, he worked with Hitachi Systems India, including responsibilities in enterprise account management, sales and key-account development.

His appointment comes at an important time for India’s cybersecurity market. With government agencies and enterprises accelerating digital transformation while confronting sophisticated cyberattacks and tighter data-protection requirements, demand for trusted security infrastructure is rising. Kohli’s experience across direct sales, alliances and strategic accounts is expected to support Utimaco’s ambition to deepen its footprint and capture emerging cybersecurity opportunities in India.
