Distributor for solution-based product line, Apical has announced the launch of Thecus NAS 2-bay N2560 and 4-bay N4560 network-attached storage (NAS) servers targeted for home and SMB users. The products are powered with the latest Intel Atom SoC CE5335 processor (1.6GHz) and 2GB of DDR3 RAM capacity.
The N2560 and N4560 servers are harnessed with 30% increase in processing power provided by Intel's latest Atom chip. The N2560 memory can be extended to 2GB advanced DDR3 RAM. With this increase, NAS can easily accommodate multiple users and their multimedia requirements.
Incorporated into the N2560 and N4560 is support for Thecus's T-OnTheGo smartphone app. It is available for both iOS and Android users. NAS management software enables users to access, copy, stream, and edit any data between their NAS and mobile device. These NAS servers come with the most popular modules already preinstalled. Media player, anti- virus, photo server software and bit Torrent is all pre-installed giving user one-stop solution.
